MEET US IN
NEW ORLEANS

NOVEMBER 5 - 8, 2026

WELCOME,

We're so happy you're reading this, because it means you've been a beloved part of our lives, either as individuals or as a couple (and in many cases, both). After seven years (!!!) of building a life together, we're finally ready to make it legit in the eyes of the law, and in the eyes of whatever God may be paying attention.

Honestly, we went back and forth on the idea of a wedding. We had a long think and too many debates about the traditions and the formalities, the significance of the vows and the symbols, and we weren't sure it was all for us. But then we thought about you, and how we absolutely wouldn't have this moment to share with each other, were it not for the love, support and guidance from each of you. We're gathering to make this thing formally for real and forever, but we realized the only way to do that properly was with the people who got us here. So let's have a hell of a party.

We picked New Orleans because it has, at risk of cliché, a rhythm to it that we haven't found anywhere else. Maybe it's a heartbeat (I won't be caught dead typing "soul"), but it's definitely alive in a way few places on this Earth are. There's an infectious sense of comfort and welcome for whatever may come, almost a feeling that anything can happen, and that you'll be down for whatever it ends up being. That feeling, loose, open, ready for anything, is something we've tried to build into how we live with and love one another. We've learned to look at this relationship as its own special kind of adventure, and New Orleans has that on offer better than most places.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
